Literally on the Dutch-Belgian border, a company is located that develops and produces electronic displays.
Last week I visited Q-Lite, a Belgian company that produces all kinds of electronic displays: from score boards to full-colour graphic displays. I was given a guided tour. It was surprising to see that behind the offices and the show room there was a spacious production hall full of people busy with small led lamps and aluminium housings. I would have guessed that the actual production would take place somewhere in Asia.
The most impressive product I saw in the factory was a mobile screen. It is a led screen built into a trailer that can be easily transported and set up.
The company is located in the Flemish enclave Baarle Hertog in the south of the Netherlands. Actually, part of the production hall is located in the Netherlands. On the floor of the factory a line indicates where the border runs.
